Process Module
Main Features
The WinTool Process Module calculates the tool assembly requisition for a new production job for a already loaded machine magazine and puts out a "tool load list" and "tool unload list." This minimizes the amount of tool assemblies that need to be setup in production. The Process Module also tracks duplicates that are temporarily stored in cabinets next to the machines or in the tool crib. You gain total transparency over all tool assemblies in use which simplifies job planning, improves process efficiency, and results in reduced setup time.
Concept and Process
With the WinTool Process Module each CNC-operation is planned as a Job. When a job is processed, the process module calculates the tool requisition for the tool list of the NC-program based on the current load state of the machine magazine. The resulting requisition order can be reviewed. If confirmed, the process module automatically prints out detailed setup instructions and generates the presetting gauge data file.
After the worker has assembled and measured the requested tools, the job will be released for production. When the parts are completed the job ends to check out the tools that are no longer used by other scheduled NC-programs on the machine.
The load state of a machine magazine can also be planned in advance in order to prepare a job on time.
The size of a tool will be taken in account when calculating the space required in a magazine (number of required pockets for a tool).

Job planning and scheduling
Favors already assembled tools in presetting.
Management of tool magazines (CNC-machines and storage).
Calculation of suggestions for minimal magazine setups
Customized printout of setup list and discharge list (tools that are no longer needed on CNC).
Planning of new jobs on machines based on minimal tool setup time.
Queries current load state of CNC- magazines including declaration of tool usage.
Request location and inventory of tool assemblies.
Automatic correction of NC- programs with T-numbers of cur-rent load state of CNC-magazine. Requirements - WinTool Professional and WinTool Logistic
Plan new jobs upon availability of tools on CNC-Machines and tool assembly cabinets
Determine quickly a net tool setup list for one or multiple jobs.
Run query for already assembled tools or tools in use with declaration of locations
Net list can be directly used with WinTool presetting interface and on customized print reports
Supply to machinist only the additional needed tools and a discharge list.
No more searching for tool assemblies (or its components).
Optimal assignment of jobs on machines.
Highly efficient management and setup of tool assemblies
Minimized presetting time and machine standstill due to fewer tool setups per job.
Reduced tool stock and optimized availability of tool components.
Consistent and error free work flow
